J has 2 very good friends in the class with her - they like to be very silly:
We've had a mix of cooler, rainy weather:
and sunny warm weather. The kids have been great help with gardening:
I couldn't resist posting this one as J and F were with their friends playing ring around the rosy and it just looked too darn cute. The two older girls and the two munchkin boys.
So on our first really warm day, we arranged a luxury pool set-up in the back yard and the kids had a blast:
J finally loves the sprinklers and had a ball jumping over the sprinkler:
F rather liked the pool.
And if this doesn't say Cali girl, I don't know what does.
J had a triumph about a 10 days ago and rode a 'real' bike by herself! She was so proud of herself. She is still working on getting going from a stand-still, but she asks to bike almost every night now:
F's great triumph was turning 2! He loves his new mower especially because one of the neighbor boys (whom F adores) is often mowing his lawn and now F can mow at the same time:
He also is enjoying his new water table and comes in soaking wet with a grin each evening for dinner.
Here are the cake shots. F blew out his own lightning mcqueen candle with no help! He's been developing those lungs with his tantrums :-). The cake eating was pretty fun to watch. J and F eat cake the same way: bit by bit, savoring each bite until it's all gone. F enjoyed his cake immensely.
